Details:
1. Day: Wednesday, April 29
2. Time: 11:30 am (Please plan to arrive at 11:30 am at the Veteran’s Coming Home Center so that we can form an informal caravan of care for this ministry).
3. Location: 806 N. Jefferson, Springfield 4. Items to donate:

If you
Breakfast items that are prepackaged such as cinnamon rolls etc. Eggs (They need lots of eggs to boil for them).
Protein bars, snack cakes, peanut butter and crackers.
Milk for cereal, (they have plenty of cereal).
Fresh fruit
Snack packs of fruit, pudding or jello. Snack bags of cookies and other snacks.

*We will also begin collecting clothes at the church for the homeless Veterans beginning the week of May 4th. We will have a bin outside at the front doors of The Springs for collection on:

● Monday May 4th and 11th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

● Tuesday May 5th and 12th from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
And
● Thursday May 7th and 14th from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm

![]() The Springs Church is proud to partner with and serve Ozark West Elementary. Ozark West Opportunities:
1. Teacher Appreciation Lunch. This opportunity is planned for the fall and normally begins around 10:00 and ends around 1:00. People can sign up for hour shifts.
2. Reading Partners: At this point there is a need for 10 volunteers who will come each week and assist a student with their reading. The process involves a background check which is done at no cost through the school.
3. Prayer Ministry: People who will commit to praying weekly for the school and those prayer needs that come up.
4. Facility Assistance: People or groups who would like to help with special projects as they come up during the year (landscaping, etc.)
5. Clothes for the school nurse: Assist in gathering clothes from yard sales, thrift stores, etc. for kids who have accidents and clothing needs during the day.

Welcome Home Veteran's Center Lunch: Join us on the third Wednesday of each month in helping to serve lunch to homeless veterans. We are always in need of desserts and volunteers to serve lunch. Food can be dropped off in the office on the Tuesday before from 9 AM to 4 PM or the Wednesday of the lunch before 10:00 AM.
